A Brasil Game Show 2026 will take place from October 9 to 12 at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, bringing together games that have yet to reach the market, international guests and a program featuring music, tournaments, interviews and meetings with industry figures. Highlights include demos of Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Final Fantasy Resonance, Persona 4 Revival, Stranger Than Heaven and Alien: Isolation 2.

This year's event will also feature professionals directly involved in some of the games showcased at the fair. They include Al Hope and Archie Whitehead from the Alien: Isolation 2 team, Oscar Lopez, designer of Call of Duty 4, Rodrigo Perez, Activision's publishing director, and Kenji Kanno, creator of Crazy Taxi. Shota Nakama, who leads the Video Game Orchestra*, completes the list of confirmed international guests.

What to play before release

One of the main attractions at BGS 2026 will be the chance to try games that are not yet commercially available. Square Enix will bring two highly anticipated titles to the fair: Final Fantasy VII Revelation and Final Fantasy Resonance.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation will have a playable demo at BGS. The title is the third chapter in the new version of Final Fantasy VII, which began with Final Fantasy VII Remake and continued with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Its presence makes the fair one of the first opportunities for the public to try the series' latest chapter.

Visitors will also be able to play Final Fantasy Resonance, an RPG built around turn-based combat, exploration and elements from different eras of the Final Fantasy franchise, presented in an HD-2D style.

Another major highlight of the fair will be Persona 4 Revival. Atlus' RPG remake will be available to try ahead of its release, scheduled for February 18, 2027. The game retells the story of the PlayStation 2 classic with updated visuals and technology, once again placing the city of Inaba and its residents at the center of the adventure.

SEGA will also bring Stranger Than Heaven, the latest project from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the team behind the Like a Dragon series. Much of the title's information remains under wraps, making the demo an opportunity to learn more about the studio's vision.

Horror fans will be able to try Alien: Isolation 2. The 2014 game's sequel will once again put players in a fight for survival against an alien threat, and BGS will feature a playable demo of the title.

SEGA will also bring Crazy Taxi: World Tour, the latest entry in the arcade racing and driving franchise. The game will have a special presence at the fair through an appearance by Kenji Kanno, creator of the original Crazy Taxi.

The lineup of playable games also includes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, EA Sports FC 27, Total War: Warhammer 40,000 and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. Just Dance: Decades of Hits will also be available to the public.
