Overwatch 2 Season 19: Halloween Event, New Stadium Mechanic, Skins, and More

Next Tuesday (14) will be marked by the start of the new season of Overwatch 2. With a new mechanic - and more heroes - for the Stadium, added to a Halloween event in addition to the renewal of the Battle Pass and more mythical skins, Season 19 promises to attract mainly the game's casual audience.

It’s already known that there won’t be a new hero coming to Overwatch 2 Standard mode, these releases only occur in even seasons of the hero shooter - being Wuyang the last one so far. Even with the arrival of a new character, probably only in Season 20, it was confirmed that there’ll be a testing period for the new heroine still in Season 19!

We don't have much information about her yet. But the final trailer below shows that she's a war-thirsty character, similar to Junker Queen.

As always, Blizzard chooses to celebrate seasonal events, such as Halloween or Christmas, in its games—and it won't be any different in 2025! Between October 14th and November 3rd, everyone will be able to enjoy three exclusive event modes.

The centerpiece is the all-new Haunted Masquerade mode. Here, you can dress up as the mask of one of your allies' heroes, adding mechanics from that other character to your own. Return of Familiar Game Modes

It's common for Overwatch 2 to return with modes already released in previous years, and we'll once again have Junkenstein's Revenge and Wrath of the Bride for you to experience this Halloween!

As a reminder: In Junkenstein's Revenge, your role is to defend Adlersbrunn Castle, surviving hordes of zombies and monsters—you can play alone or in a team.

Wrath of the Bride is a more cinematic experience, where you and your team—controlling Sojourn, Junker Queen, Kiriko, and Ashe—must invade the conquered Adlersbrunn region. Navigating mazes, eliminating monsters, and facing bosses will be some of your challenges!

Three More Heroes, New Map, and New Reward Skin

Gadgets: Overwatch 2's New Active Items!

The legendary skins on the Season 19 track are Oni Cassidy, Mermonster Wuyang, Vampire Moira, Ninja Sombra, and One-Eye Wilhelm Reinhardt.

Cursed Woods Echo, Cursed Teddy Zenyatta, and Cursed Candle Torbjörn will also be added to your epic skins!

The standard 80 Mythic Prisms reward for those who purchase any premium version of the Battle Pass will also remain, which is enough to acquire and fully upgrade a Mythic Skin!

The Vampire Kiriko and R-7K Preserver Ramattra styles are exclusive to the Ultimate Battle Pass.

Season 19 Mythic Skins

Until now, Seasons have featured two Mythic skins: one for a weapon and one for a hero. This pattern changes starting in Season 19; we'll now have two skins of this rarity for different heroes!

The first is Divine Druid Lifeweaver, which will arrive on the first day of the update along with Kiriko's Spirit Keeper. Cyber Fuel Junkrat will only be available in the Mid-Season update.

Collections in the Store

From October 14th to 27th, you can purchase the Archangels set, with cosmetic items for the heroes Mercy, Freja, Genji, Baptiste, Pharah, and Sigma.

Soon after, between October 28th and November 10th, Spirits will dominate Overwatch 2. With skins for Kiriko, Ashe, Reaper, Widowmaker, and Roadhog.
