Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will launch on Xbox Game Pass on March 4, 2027. Before then, Xbox players can already get a taste of the adventure through a free Alpha demo available on the Xbox Store.The trial will only be available until September 30 at 8am Pacific Time, 11am Eastern Time and 4pm UK time. Players who complete the demo will receive the “Fledgling Pheonix Helmet” item to use in the full version of the game.The sequel takes the story to China in 208 AD, following the events of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The protagonist’s village and that of his friend Pang Tong are destroyed by Cao Cao’s forces during the invasion of Jing Province, a land ravaged by war and demons.Driven by revenge, the protagonist will help Liu Bei in his fight against Cao Cao. The journey later continues to Jiangdong, where the group reunites with Pang Tong and devises a strategy to stop Cao Cao’s advance towards the Red Cliffs.Pre-orders for Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember are also now open on the Xbox Store. The game costs £64.99 in the UK and US$69.99 in the United States.Wo Long 2 will also support Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing players to access the game across compatible platforms within the Xbox ecosystem.
