The first major Paralives update will no longer arrive at the end of 2026. The life sim’s team has pushed it back to 2027 and laid out a plan covering four areas, focused on systems already in the early-access game.First, the team wants to strengthen the foundations of Live Mode. Higher relationship levels are expected to unlock more options, while new interactions could change Paras’ emotions. The plan also includes changes to the Community Center’s item sets and the game’s economic progression, making money harder to earn.Expanding Live Mode is also on the list. The team plans to add two skills, more jobs, new relationship-label unlocks, and more story and shared-activity cards. The changes aim to give players more to do in their characters’ daily lives and more ways to follow their relationships. In Build Mode, the priority is fixing bugs that affect players’ creations. New furniture and objects are planned, along with improvements to how those items work. Paramaker will get more hairstyles and clothing, including loose-fitting pieces. The team also wants to expand the body fat and muscle controls to represent a wider range of body shapes. The plan is not final. The team says some items may be postponed and others may be added to the update. According to the developers, the delay is needed to give them more time to finish the work. For now, Paralives has no exact release date for its first major update.Via Rock Paper Shotgun.
