The Game Awards 2024 Announcements: The Witcher 4, Elden Ring Nightreign and more

Every year, The Game Awards (TGA) takes place, the biggest event focused on rewarding the best games by category, with the main prize of the night being Game of the Year. The TGA is also marked by several announcements of new games, and in 2024 we had one of the biggest editions in history, living up to the ten years of the award!

Among the game announcements, the highlights are the sequels to The Witcher and Mafia, a standalone game for Elden Ring, as well as new franchises coming from major companies, such as Intergalactic from Naughty Dog. Shortly after the official reveal of The Witcher 4, The Game Awards makes this incredible Elden Ring production available, called NightReign. The work is a spin-off of Elden Ring with cooperative gameplay, and it was probably the biggest surprise of the night!

Another big franchise released a trailer at the event, 2K's Borderlands 4 will arrive next year!

Warner Bros using its strong franchises to establish itself in the games market! This time's ad is for Game of Thrones Kingsroad.

Nothing better than a new IP from a renowned company to close TGA 2024 with hype! The final trailer was to announce Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, a new production from Naughty Dog.
