Good Smile Company has announced a new intellectual property in partnership with Monochrome Corporation, the studio behind Grand Kingdom. Called IGNISPHERE, the project will span multiple media, including the action RPG DAWNGAZER, which is scheduled to launch on PS5 in 2028.DAWNGAZER will be led by Takafumi Noma, director of Unicorn Overlord. Details about the game remain limited, but the first trailer already offers a glimpse of the project and provides an initial look at its adventure.The soundtrack will be composed by Yoshimi Kudo, who previously worked on Elden Ring. A second video offers a taste of the musical direction prepared for IGNISPHERE.The project will extend beyond video games. IGNISPHERE will also include related products and a light novel series, which Kadokawa will publish under its Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. Good Smile Company and Monochrome Corporation have yet to explain how these different productions will be connected.DAWNGAZER is the intellectual property's main project and marks Noma's next venture after Unicorn Overlord. The announcement also brings together professionals with experience across different studios and franchises: while Monochrome's portfolio includes Grand Kingdom, Kudo contributes his experience from Elden Ring.For now, the action RPG is scheduled to launch on PS5 in 2028. An exact release date and other platforms have not yet been announced.
