Pokémon GO will kick off a new season on September 8, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time. Titled Twilight Trails, the season will run through December 1 and draw inspiration from autumn, bringing new creatures, Mega Evolutions, Dynamax Pokémon and special activities.

Maschiff and Mabosstiff will make their debuts during the season. The period will also mark the arrival of Mega Evolutions for Staraptor and Chandelure, expanding the game’s transformation options.

The confirmed Dynamax Pokémon include Rhyhorn, Sneasel, Sizzlipede, Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf. The schedule will also feature encounters with specific Pokémon in eggs, including Elekid, Magby and Azurill.

Three Community Day dates have already been announced. Community Day Classic will take place on September 12, followed by events scheduled for October 10 and November 21.

The season will also bring updates to the Go Pass, Pokémon GO’s system for tracking seasonal activities. Kyogre, Groudon and Latias will appear during the Twilight Trails celebrations, which will introduce new Field Research tasks.

Although some content will be released gradually, most of the new features will be available on September 8. The season will follow the Pokémon Worlds/XP 2026 celebrations, held in San Francisco, United States.

Twilight Trails will launch during the year celebrating Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, as Pokémon GO marks its tenth anniversary. The game has also been adding features for returning players, including tools to help them get back into the rhythm of play and build up experience.

The September debut will bring the largest wave of content, while the October and November events will keep the schedule active through December 1.
