Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival has received a new playable demo on Steam, accompanied by the Scarlet Church trailer. The preview introduces the cult attempting to build “a depraved paradise for humanity” within the hell created by Clive Barker.

Even in its censored version, the video features gore, sex, torture, violence and disturbing imagery. As a result, the material includes a warning for viewers sensitive to adult themes.

In the demo, players explore the constantly shifting Labyrinth and face the Scarlet Church, a group that has taken possession of the Genesis Configuration, the coveted puzzle box at the heart of Hellraiser: Revival’s story. The experience also introduces the main characters and the basics of combat, item crafting and puzzle-solving.

Progress made in the demo will not carry over to the full version.

Hellraiser: Revival is now available to pre-order for £35, while the Deluxe Edition costs £45. The special edition includes the Labyrinth Pistol Skin and Martyr Sawblade Skin, available at launch. Two Collector’s Editions are also available for pre-order, featuring a selection of officially licensed collectibles and all the bonuses from the Deluxe Edition.

The game’s release has been confirmed for October 8, 2026. Hellraiser: Revival will be released on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
