The last big update for Cyberpunk 2077 came at the end of 2023, patch 2.1 arrived with several improvements and new resources which attracted thousands of players back into the game.
If you got back into playing recently, with this update, or if you’re just looking for a new build to innovate in your gameplay, this article is for you! Here we will focus on builds from the characters from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Netflix's anime based on the game universe, which was a success all around, having been greatly accepted by fans and media alike!

David Martinez
Why not start with the series protagonist? This build sets itself apart by using the Sandevistan, the character's main cyberware, which makes you faster and the enemies feel like they’re in slow motion.
It focuses on Body for close reach combat, with high damage for shotguns and melee, preferably with the Gorilla Arms cyberware. We will also upgrade Reflexes a bit, making dashes available and, finally, a few more upgrades in Technical, optimizing your cyberwares, on top of increasing your cyberware capacity and in Moral, to increase your aim and movement speed.

Lucy
Lucy is an escaped Netrunner from Arasaka, she was trained and forced, by the corporation, to invade the old internet. This character introduced David Martinez to the Mercenary world. Her build offers mechanics and gameplay vastly different from the prior one, perfect for fans of hacking in Cyberpunk.
Monowire is Lucy’s characteristic weapon in the anime, and it will also be essential in the game, since the “Siphon” perk makes you gain RAM back after each attack with the wire.

Even though Reflexes is the only maximized area, it is not our focus for the perks. They will be mostly in Intelligence, aiming an increase in capacity and decrease in RAM cost, Technical to improve cyberwares, life amplifiers and grenades, and Moral to increase damage and movement speed.

We’ll use a few improvements on Reflexes and Body, to unlock a few advance and dash mechanics, on top of an increase in maximum life and regeneration.

Rebecca
Do you like a lot of shooting and destruction? Rebecca’s build is made for you! She is fast and very aggressive, comparable to Jinx from League of Legends. This is the build I particularly liked the most, and I am currently playing it.
It won’t even be necessary to unlock perks in Intelligence or Moral. Your focus is completely in Body, which gives you increased damage and HP, and also unlocks mechanics such as Obliteration and Adrenaline, increasing these statuses even more; Reflexes, so that you can use advances, lower the stamina cost and unlock some improvements for aim and weapon recoil; Technical, to increase grenade and life amplifier’s capacity and potency. It’s a build that focuses more on weapons, over cyberwares.

Kiwi
Kiwi is an experienced Netrunner, being a mentor for Lucy in the gang. She is also somewhat mysterious, and only cares about her own agenda.
Kiwi is the Netrunner's very definition, she works outside the spotlight, without many weapons and relying on her quick hacks to destroy enemies.

Maine
Leader of the gang, Maine guided David Martinez during his start as a Mercenary, but unfortunately ended up being taken by Cyberpsychosis.

Adam Smasher
Adam Smasher has staggeringly high numbers of implants, becoming known as a “Droid”. He is an ally to Arasaka and was considered one of the main villains for fighting the protagonist directly, both in the game and in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
