Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls debuted on PS5 and PC with a series of posts from PlayStation studios to mark the launch of the Marvel hero fighting game.

Insomniac Games kicked off the celebrations by congratulating Arc System Works on the game's arrival. The post also took the opportunity to promote Marvel's Wolverine, the studio's next project inspired by the character. The crossover outfits featured in the art stand out in the composition.

Santa Monica Studio followed its tradition of creating its own illustration for launch dates. This time, the image brings together Kratos and Ghost Rider, with both characters showing off their flaming chains.

Kratos and Ghost Rider's appearance links two figures known for their chain weapons in a tribute to the new game.

Naughty Dog took the celebration to the arcade. Its art shows Ellie getting ready to play Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls on an arcade machine, in a direct nod to the title's competitive style.

The tributes did not bring together as many teams as is usually the case in PlayStation-related game launches, but three of the brand's main studios marked the occasion with very different approaches. While Insomniac highlighted its ties to the Marvel universe, Santa Monica leaned into the meeting between Kratos and Ghost Rider, and Naughty Dog put Ellie in front of the arcade cabinet.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is now available for PS5 and PC.
