Melty Blood: Twi-Lumina will be released for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on April 22, 2027. The date was confirmed in a new trailer for the upcoming fighting game in TYPE-MOON's series, developed by French Bread and published by Aniplex.

The title is the latest entry in the franchise set in the Tsukihime universe. The presentation highlights refined battle mechanics and new characters joining the roster, while the story once again puts supernatural conflicts in the spotlight.

Twi-Lumina will feature an all-new main storyline centered on Shiki Tohno. Kinoko Nasu wrote the new story, which will take players through Souya City as they fight a range of characters.

Among the confirmed additions is Len, who joins the roster. Promotional material also points to an updated lineup of fighters from Melty Blood: Type Lumina, which will serve as the foundation for the series' return.

Melty Blood: Type Lumina arrived on the Switch eShop in 2021 and received several additional DLC characters, free updates and a compatibility patch for Switch 2. Twi-Lumina will launch for both generations of Nintendo's console on the same date.
