Marvel’s Wolverine has received a new live-action trailer just days ahead of its PlayStation 5 exclusive debut. Running for around a minute, the commercial cuts between gameplay footage and ordinary people in everyday situations, imagining what it would be like to react with Logan’s instincts, strength and aggression. The campaign does not reveal any major new story or gameplay details. Instead, it brings Wolverine into the real world to emphasize the protagonist’s more violent personality, a trait Sony and Insomniac Games have highlighted in the game’s marketing.Marvel’s Wolverine will be a linear, cinematic single-player action adventure. Moving away from the open-world structure of Marvel’s Spider-Man, the game takes Logan through locations including Canada, Tokyo and Madripoor. Insomniac has confirmed this will not be an origin story: Wolverine will already be an experienced hero caught up in an adventure set in the X-Men universe. In the story, Logan returns to the X-Men after three years away from the team, amid a crisis involving mutants. Bolivar Trask leads a campaign of persecution driven by his belief in human superiority, while the Reavers, cybernetic mercenaries, capture mutants. Jean Grey will play an important role and team up with Logan at different points in the story.Lady Deathstrike, Omega Red, Mystique, Sabretooth and the Hand will also be part of the story. In combat, Wolverine will be able to stalk opponents, set ambushes or engage in direct confrontations. Attacks, parries and takedowns fill the Rage meter, while the Healing Factor helps Logan endure critical moments.Marvel’s Wolverine will be released on September 15, 2026. On the Brazilian PlayStation Store, the standard edition is available for pre-order for R$ 399,90, while the Digital Deluxe edition costs R$ 455,90. The game will support PS5 Pro, can be played offline and will receive a launch-day update with improvements.
