IntroductionFortnite, the renowned Multiplayer Battle Royale game already known for its partnerships with numerous franchises, returns once again to the Star Wars universe with new aesthetic and gameplay features, in the format of a mini-season. Now, we have a Death Star hovering on the horizon with ships surrounding it!The developers have given a special touch to the mini-season, which will remain active with its missions until June 6, 2025. Usually, the game's additional content is either large enough for new events and seasons (such as the Lady Gaga, Godzilla, Avatar: the Last Airbender expansion, etc.) or small enough to be only visual, as was the case with Hatsune Miku. In this update, we have a lot of content, for a limited time.Fornite: Galactic BattleIn the case of Fortnite: Galactic Battle, there’s the addition of new unique locations on the map, the return of iconic weapons such as the lightsaber, as well as the addition of new features in the same category such as “Force Lightning”, and new vehicles to pilot such as the Imperial TIE Fighter.New and old weapons pulled from the VaultFornite: Galactic BattleIn the first update, released on May 2nd, 20 new items, abilities, materials and vehicles were added to the game, while 9 items were removed from the vault, a concept that the game uses to revive weapons and/or vehicles from the past that were impactful or much loved by the community. Here, we have two items that are most notable for returning:Two lightsaber variants were revitalized, the Jedi Padawan Lightsaber, and the Sith Apprentice Lightsaber. Although they're distinguishable by color and have the same base damage, they continue to increase the user's running speed, in addition to the ability to double jump. Using each one in different missions allows the player to acquire separate abilities:Jedi Padawan's LightsaberEntering Rey's rift portal grants the player the Force Push ability with her blue saber, which pushes objects and enemies in front of the player. Additionally, entering Mace Windu's rift portal grants the player the Force Pull ability with the purple saber, which does the opposite. On the other hand, in the Sith events, there are 3 possible abilities available, in addition to those already usable on the base saber: Darth Sidious's rift portal grants the Sith apprentice saber, with the Force Lightning skill, which allows you to throw lightning from your hands, causing damage and also disabling vehicles; Darth Vader's portal grants the same saber, with Force Saber Throw, in which the saber can be thrown from a distance to cause damage; Darth Maul's portal comes with the Force Throw skill, which throws 4 rocks at the target;New Blasters AvailableAdditionally, we have the addition and return of Blasters used by both Chronic Wars soldiers and the Empire. They all have infinite ammo, but suffer from overheating.
