Cyberpunk 2077 and its expansion will be released on Battle.net later this year. The move is part of a collaboration between CD Projekt and Blizzard, announced during BlizzCon.

Blizzard’s store already hosts several games from other companies, including Sea of Thieves, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 and The Outer Worlds 2. Cyberpunk 2077 will join that lineup alongside its expansion, though an exact release date for the platform has not been announced.

The partnership also includes The Witcher. Geralt will appear in Diablo 4 as a skin for the Barbarian class. The item will be available to players who pre-order Songs of the Past, a DLC for The Witcher 3, through Battle.net.

The collaboration will also bring more The Witcher-themed content in 2027. No details on those future items were provided.

Battle.net will also receive the remastered version of The Witcher 3, previously announced at GamesCom. Meanwhile, Diablo 2 Resurrected, Diablo 4 and Overwatch remain the only Blizzard games available on Steam.

The collaboration between the companies will continue in Overwatch next year, when Edgerunners-inspired cosmetics will be added to the game. The second season of the series premieres on Netflix on October 20.
