Xbox's August public update began rolling out on August 12, bringing six new features to consoles. It can be downloaded manually through the settings menu or installed automatically over the next few hours.Installed Xbox 360 games now receive hubs directly on their game cards. There, users can quickly check achievement progress, captures and other information. The icons showing the cloud save sync status in these hubs have also been updated.Achievements in Xbox 360 titles now get detailed pop-ups when opened from the profile's achievement list. The update also adds Windows Phone games to the account's achievement history. One of the changes allows players to start playing via the cloud while an update downloads. When a game needs an update and is available for streaming through a Game Pass subscription, players can launch it through cloud gaming and leave the download queued for later. The option to launch the game from the cloud also appears on its card while it is installing or updating.Xbox also now lets users restore earlier versions of cloud-synced saves directly from the console. The feature lets users browse available versions, recover an older save and manage data without leaving the console experience. For now, the feature is available in Forza Horizon 6 through Manage game and add-ons > Saved data > Restore saved data. Other games are expected to receive support in future updates. The wishlist has also been expanded: released and upcoming game cards can be added directly, while the limit has increased to 1,000 games. On the Manage installation page, games and add-ons now display badges indicating when access to a title comes through a subscription.
