Team games, especially competitive ones, bring the concept of composition - a combination of characters designed to get the highest potential out of an idea. This is true regardless of the game genre, whether in MOBAs like League of Legends and Dota 2, hero shooters like Team Fortress 2 or FPS games like Valorant and Rainbow Six Siege. Of course, each one has its own peculiarities, but the concept is the same.
Overwatch 2, as a multiplayer and competitive game, could not ignore this concept, and here we're faced with three of them: Dive, Brawl and Poke. We at UmGamer have prepared a complete guide to describe them, as well as mentioning the strengths and vulnerabilities of each combination. Check it out!

How to Play with a Dive Comp in Overwatch 2
Concept
Dive comps focus on advancing on the enemy backline, reaching the weakest targets (DPS and Supports). Their main objective is to get into fights with a numerical advantage, the swiftness during the dive makes the enemy tank have no reaction time, making their protection ineffective, being practically one less in combat.
So pay attention to isolated targets, if you can see one or two targets alone, executing a 4v2 or 5v2 attack is the ideal scenario for Diving, the agility exercised will not give enough time for the rest of the enemies to arrive.
Heroes
To execute the strategy properly, the composition requires that all heroes have high mobility, this will be the main pick criteria. Winston, D.Va and Wrecking Ball are tanks that meet this requirement, and will easily reach fragile targets without being interrupted. The DPS can be done by Genji and Tracer, both of whom are quite fast.
Finally, we have a wide range of supports to fit into the composition, Lucio, Mercy and Moira can easily keep up with their allies’ pace. Juno is also a good choice, given that she can further enhance her dive with her ring that increases movement speed. Also, if you have any questions about how this new support works, check out our Juno guide!

How to Play with a Brawl Comp in Overwatch 2
Concept
Brawl heroes have increased potential in close-range combat. But unlike the last comp, where the idea was to reach opponents with high movement, here the focus is on trapping enemies in a closed space to eliminate them with brute force. Tanks with protection tools and stuns will make your team get into a constant advance, cornering the opposing team sooner or later.
Heroes
You should give preference to characters that deal high damage at short range, along with heroes who have many tools to impair enemy movement.
Two examples of tanks that fit this style are Reinhardt and Zarya. As your main source of kills, Reaper, Cassidy, and Mei are options, all of which have high AoE damage and at close range, in Mei's case, it’s still possible to trap opponents with her wall or Ultimate.

It's also worth highlighting Lúcio, Moira and Baptiste’s Ultimates, which are extremely strong in a close-range team fight.

How to Play with a Poke Comp in Overwatch 2
Concept
The goal of the Poke comp is to stay as far away from your enemies as possible, landing long-range shots. Even if they manage to get close, if they are slow, they will be heavily damaged before the fight, due to the amount of damage they took along the way.
Generally, DPS and Support heroes will stay on the high ground, this will give your team a better strategic vision, allowing you to dominate locations easily.
Heroes
The priority of picks in this case will be precisely the opposite of the Brawl composition, we want heroes who fight well at a long range. In the case of tanks, the highlights are Sigma and Orisa. In the DPS class, it's preferable to have Hanzo, Ashe or Widowmaker on the team.
Thinking about supports, Baptiste's Ultimate will increase his damage potential, while Zenyatta and Kiriko are capable of dealing a lot of damage, even from afar.
