Manor Lords has surpassed 4 million copies sold across all stores. To celebrate the milestone, the medieval management game will receive Major Update 8, an update that combines new features with quality-of-life improvements.

Food and drink production will gain new options. Players will be able to use apples to make cider, turn honey into mead and thresh oats, an easy-to-grow crop that can feed both the population and animals.

The update will also expand the space available for raising livestock. Players will be able to raise and import cattle, paving the way for them to become major cattle producers. Sheep will get small barns of their own, a change designed to help them get through the cold winter months.

Another addition will be cheesemakers in the villages. They will lay the groundwork for a future perk related to cheese production, although the text does not specify when this benefit will become available.

Major Update 8 will also add Wide Valley, a new map with rivers and a region described as lush and well suited to development. The content could offer a new option for players who have already explored much of what the medieval settlement management system has to offer.

Manor Lords is also discounted on Steam. The price has been cut by 35% for two weeks through Hooded Horse bundles and a bundle that includes Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Manor Lords.
