Epic Games has confirmed a collaboration between Five Nights at Freddy’s and Fortnite during Fortnitemares 2026. The partnership will bring Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria to the battle royale map, while Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy will appear as bosses for players to fight.The confirmation comes after months of rumors and clues related to the franchise. The announcement was also accompanied by a new trailer showcasing the pizzeria and animatronics at the game’s Halloween event.Epic summed up the collaboration with the phrase “It’s almost showtime!”, indicating that Fazbear’s band will take over Battle Royale. Players will have to face the animatronic bosses and survive the night.Anticipation for the partnership had already been building ahead of the confirmation. The pizzeria appeared on the island during Fortnite’s Override season, while recent editions of Fortnitemares featured security cameras and dialogue connected to Five Nights at Freddy’s.Fortnitemares 2026 will begin on October 1.
