Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 will officially explore Year 1000 in the Dragon Ball timeline and has already offered clues about the heroes of that future. Among the highlights from this month’s edition of V-Jump is a possible successor to Piccolo, connected to the fate of the Namekians on Earth.The new era will feature a much larger Namekian presence in Earth’s population. Namekians will be available during character creation and will have access to a transformation based on Piccolo’s Ultimate form. Since Piccolo did not achieve this state naturally, the connection between the character and the avatar created by the player could play an important role in the story.Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 will also allow players to create characters from different races, including Saiyans, humans, Frost Demons, Majins and Namekians. Androids will be a new addition to the Xenoverse series’ playable options, although they have already appeared as avatars in Dragon Ball Heroes. The magazine also mentions “unknown races,” which could open the door to Kais or demons, but their inclusion has not been confirmed.The story will take place in the year 1000, with Piccolo in a role similar to the one presented in the original version of this era in Dragon Ball Online. In this future, he will be one of the last surviving Z Fighters and will continue protecting Earth while training a new generation of warriors. In Xenoverse 3, Piccolo will work alongside Bulma and Gamma 1 to defend West City.John and Jane 1000 will be the main protagonists, while time travel will remain central to the series. Goku and Future Trunks may appear despite belonging to earlier periods, but Piccolo will be the only Z Fighter to come directly from a later era.This position will give Piccolo knowledge of events that have yet to occur for the other heroes, including the deaths of Goku and Vegeta, the fate of Black Freeza and possible events connected to the multiverse. No release date has been announced.
