Valorant fans finally received the last major update of Season 2025. Act 6, which closes the year, arrived last Wednesday (15) and was marked by a load of nerfs to various abilities to make the FPS more streamlined and focused on gunplay, as well as changes to the maps and competitive rotation.
However, as always, the patch notes also introduced a new Battle Pass—which is the focus of this article. Today, we'll analyze the revamped item track to discover which weapons are included and what themes are covered in the new update, helping you decide if the Battle Pass is worth purchasing. Check it out!
How to Level Up the Battle Pass
Unlike the previous Acts, the Battle Pass now lasts for nearly 80 days! The value and number of rewards remain the same, but to maintain it until the end of the year, the track will be a few weeks longer than usual. This is good news for more casual players who don't always have enough time to acquire all the rewards.
The way to earn EXP and reach higher levels hasn't changed. Each match grants a small amount of experience. For optimal progress, complete the daily and weekly missions located in the upper right corner.

To collect the free rewards, you'll need to complete an entire chapter — each chapter acts as a "page" of the pass, and each has its own free items.

We'll highlight the main rewards among the free and premium ones, and then you'll have access to a video with all the items to draw your own conclusions.
Free Items
Riot Games is closing out Season V25 with the same pattern as the year's other Acts by awarding two copies of a commemorative Act Buddy to any player who reaches level 10 of the track - completing the second chapter.

There are two other Buddies on the free track, one commemorative—in this case celebrating Valorant's five years—and another for lovers of thunder and rock 'n' roll! They'll be unlocked, respectively, upon completing chapters six and nine.

For those who enjoy representing their favorite agents on their profile, you'll definitely be pleased with the fact that the track contains three Cards featuring the FPS characters - complete pages 1, 5, and 10 of the Pass to acquire them. The biggest highlight is Veto, the newly arrived agent from Valorant, who appears in two of the three cosmetics.

Finally, the most coveted cosmetic for Free-to-Play players continues to be a skin given at the end of the track, more specifically upon reaching level 50. This time, the item is the Heartstopper Ghost.

The weapon is excellent; the small sparkles that have an animation, in addition to an unusual design, make this one of the best options for the inventory of the player who doesn't usually invest money in Valorant.
Premium Items
The Premium Battle Pass continues to feature three skin lines. This Act includes:
Despite the similar name, each has a distinct style and color palette. All were very well received, but the majority of the community embraced the Heartstopper line more.

The weapon selection was also excellent. Once again, we see the Phantom, Vandal, and Operator—three of the FPS's most popular weapons—receiving different skins in the same season, along with the famous Sheriff and Ghost pistols.
The biggest problem was the shortage in the Heartstopper line. The fan-favorite line received only two items—only one if we consider the premium track exclusively—while five weapons received a Heartseeker version. This is a point of note: if you only like one skin style, make sure it covers enough of the weapons you use in the pass.
You may have noticed that the Knife wasn't mentioned in the list above, as it's not part of any specific line. The Heart Splitter originally features the Heartstopper colors, but also has variants that incorporate the other two color palettes in this Battle Pass. Check it out:

Its design alone is incredible, and the variants allow for more flexibility in the inventory, appealing to a wide range of audiences. It's worth mentioning that we've selected a demo of the weapon in-game from the VALORANT Lab YouTube channel so you can see the draw and swing animations.
It has a heavier style, being a two-handed weapon, like the Battle Pass skin from the previous Act. If you like this style, you'll definitely like the Heart Splitter.
The three skin styles introduced in this update all center around music, as evidenced by the headphone Buddies, unlocked at tiers 2, 14, and 33.

There are other cosmetics with the same theme; you can check them all out in the video at the end of the thread.
The premium version of the pass continues to provide items from the game's five-year history; in this case, cards that highlight Valorant agents and maps.

There are other items that, despite not receiving the “5 years” title in celebration of the FPS brand, also serve to represent its favorite characters.

However, perhaps the best way to express your love for an agent is with the Premium Track Buddies. Unfortunately, they were only released for Iso, Jett, and Yoru, but they look great and will obviously be a good choice if you use one of these characters.

Some of them, like Agent On Route, Technically Speaking, and Boomerproof, bring a comedic sense of humor to your collection.

Is the Season 2025 Act 6 Battle Pass worth buying?
Act 6 offers as much, if not greater, quality compared to the previous one. It's a shame that the best skin line is only available on one weapon throughout the entire premium rewards track; it's a waste of potential. However, all the other styles are also excellent, and I recommend purchasing them if you're interested.
The melee weapon in this update is another success. The Heart Splitter is one of the best "knives" in the Battle Pass, and its variants make it flexible for inventories of different colors.
The other cosmetics successfully explore this musical theme, utilizing bands, headphones, and heartbeats—analogous to music. The lighter, more playful approach to other items also serves to please a large audience.
If you use the weapons that were honored in this update and liked the color palettes of each style, you'll definitely be pleased with the purchase of the premium version!
I hope you enjoyed this article; I'm available if you have any questions or suggestions.
