Fortnite: Best Skins for Anime fans!

Epic Games' battle royale, Fortnite, has always been known for making collabs with other universes, resulting in licensed cosmetics from various of these universes. You can even check out the game's partnerships with Marvel, DC or Star Wars clicking here.

But Fortnite is also known for its crossovers and skins with anime series, featuring famous characters like Goku, Naruto Uzumaki and All Might. In this article, we list the best skins from game events with anime!

First, it's worth mentioning that this is a list based on community tastes, feel free to use the character you prefer without worrying about popularity.

Jujutsu Kaisen

Yuji Itadori

In August last year, Fortnite announced a partnership with Jujutsu Kaisen, the series that won the Anime Awards 2024 as best anime of the year. Bringing free cosmetics for the rewards track and the Jujutsu Kaisen Championship, which took place on August 11, 2023, and offered a Spray and Emoticons based on the series' universe.

Additionally, three skins came to the item shop: Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki and Satoru Gojo.

But the highlight goes to the protagonist Yuji Itadori, who was made available on a premium rewards track.

The skin was so well received that Epic Games decided to sell the costume again this month, now for a package of 1,900 V-Bucks in the item store, and it’s also possible to buy it separately for 1,500.

Attack on Titan

Eren Jaeger

Eren Jaeger starred in Attack on Titan, and showed up in Fortnite during Chapter 4: Season 2, standing out for being an unlockable skin for those who had the premium Battle Pass, being purchased by several players. In addition to the main skin, two costumes were made available: Captain Levi and Mikasa Ackermann, as well as other cosmetics.

Naruto Shippuden

One of the most anticipated partnerships by fans was Fortnite and Naruto Shippuden. Sasuke Uchiha

Sasuke Uchiha is another famous figure from the anime, and arrived with Naruto to make up the game's item store. In addition to the skin, Fortnite also offered a new pickaxe: Snake Sword Pickaxe.

I was particularly surprised to come across some comments saying that the skin wasn't worth it because it didn't contain this or that style which Sasuke went through in the anime, with players giving priority to other collabs like Marvel or Star Wars.

But of course, there’s a huge fan base around Sasuke, making his costume one of the most used despite the criticism.

Kakashi Hatake

Some statistics sites claim that Kakashi's skin is used more than Naruto himself. She was sold with a variant: Black Ops Kakashi.

During the days of the event, the character was also inside the game map, as an interactive NPC. Talking to him granted you experience to complete the battle pass as well as providing an Explosive Kunai!

Itachi Uchiha

Around six months after the first launches of skins from the renowned anime, Epic Games announced the introduction of some of Naruto’s rivals for the battle royale, such as Gaara and Orochimaru, but the highlight goes to Itachi Uchiha who became the most played among them! In addition to the standard look, he was also given a Black Ops style.

This addition brought more accessories for the back, as well as some pickaxes and gliders:

My Hero Academia

In the first season of Chapter 4, in December 2022, the new collab between Fortnite and My Hero Academia was presented with four visuals as the main new arrivals, and we will check out three of them here.

All Might

Midoriya's mentor, All Might was acclaimed by fans, having a huge impact and success in the battle royale item store. Izuku Midoriya

Another costume with a transforming gesture is that of Izuku Midoriya, who switches between his standard style and the “Full Cowl”. The bundle also includes the All Might Collectible Back Bling and the Blackwhip Axe Pickaxe.

It didn't have the same acceptance rate as All Might, which would be really difficult to achieve, but it was still a costume well received by viewers of the series, its "Full Cowl" style had a wide range of praise, and we can say that it was the highlight of the skin.

Ochaco Uraraka

One of the students at U.A. Highschool who dreams of being a heroine. Ochaco Uraraka arrived alongside the other skins already mentioned from the anime, and her outfit comes with the Uravity Thruster Back Bling and the Uravity Smasher Pickaxe.

Dragon Ball Super

Also in 2022, but months earlier, the current partnership was with Dragon Ball. Bringing not only new visuals, but also some powers to the game such as the Kamehameha, as well as broadcasts of Dragon Ball Super episodes on different islands in the game. The three visuals were widely praised by fans of the anime.

Another addition worth mentioning in this partnership event is the Power Unleashed! trail, which brought a series of missions, which when completed, granted a Dragon Ball to evolve in this pass.

Upon getting seven Dragon Balls, you unlocked the Shenron Glider!

Son Goku

Quite possibly the most popular anime costume in the battle royale. Goku arrived with the Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct styles. As if all the extremely attractive visuals weren't enough, Epic Games brought the Goku’s Charging Up gesture, which allows you to switch between the four variants, bringing enormous acceptance among fans.

Vegeta

Vegeta goes through the same situation as Goku, both are beloved characters and were well represented in the game, also having three variants (Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue and Super Saiyan Blue Evolved) and the Charging Up gesture to change them.

Beerus

Despite not offering a characteristic emote like the previous two, the God of Destruction is one of the most powerful figures in the entire anime, having a huge fan base who were satisfied with the details of his look and praised him a lot in the Epic Games’ game.
