Escape the Backrooms will add three new levels in December with the After Party update. The new content brings a party theme to the cooperative horror game and also includes new character skins.Publisher Secret Mode announced the update on October 8, after briefly showcasing it during the Triple-I Initiative event. The idea is to combine the celebration with an escape from the entities that inhabit the Backrooms: players will be able to don new outfits and even enjoy some cake before running through the environments again.Before After Party arrives, the game will receive a selection of cosmetics in October, including free and paid options. Among the planned outfits, players will be able to dress up as an entity to scare their friends during matches. Secret Mode has not revealed the names of the three new levels or a specific release date for the December update.Developed by Fancy Games, Escape the Backrooms has been played by more than 12 million people since entering early access in 2022. The game supports cooperative play for one to four players and features more than 30 levels.Escape the Backrooms is available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2. The After Party update expands the cooperative horror experience with new environments and outfits, while the October cosmetics will arrive ahead of the party.
