Xbox has announced four improvements for its consoles, with new features beginning to arrive in the Xbox Insider program before a wider rollout. Among them, two stand out for addressing recurring community requests: including conversations in video captures and recovering previous versions of cloud saves. When recording a video while in a Party, each participant will be able to decide whether their own voice will be included. This way, audio is only added to the capture when there is individual authorization. Those who are not in a Party will also be able to choose to record in-game chat audio. The change provides more flexibility to share gameplay, reactions, and moments with friends without taking away players' control over whether their voices appear in videos. Asha Sharma, head of Xbox, described the feature as something players have been requesting for quite some time.Another relevant addition allows users to browse available versions of a cloud save and restore a previous file directly on the console. The feature debuts in Forza Horizon 6, under Manage game and add-ons > Saved data > Restore saved data. The goal is to offer an alternative when a cloud save has issues, allowing the player to try to recover their progress from an older version. Support for other titles is planned for future updates. The remaining changes include new ways to sort games. In addition to the default last played view, it will be possible to sort the list by name, completion percentage, Gamerscore earned, or number of achievements unlocked. Finally, the wishlist will now support up to 1,000 games for all Xbox players. The expansion makes it easier to keep track of titles you want to play, follow, or buy later.
