Control Resonant has unveiled a gameplay clip focused on the confrontation between Dylan and the Central Resonant, one of the major bosses in the game's corrupted version of New York.

The creature is described as a giant, flaming monster capable of turning the ground into lava and launching jets of magma at the player. The video also offers a brief preview of the area where the mission takes place, setting the battle in an environment affected by the corruption.

The Resonants represent the greatest threats in Control Resonant. These bosses occupy a central role both in Remedy's latest story and in the world built for the game, extending beyond isolated encounters during the campaign.

Defeating these creatures, however, can have consequences that make the player's life more difficult. Details about this effect and the Resonants' role in the adventure will be revealed later.

The footage shows Dylan taking on the Central Resonant and points to a battle shaped by hazards in the environment itself. With the floor turned into lava and magma attacks coming at the character, the confrontation requires players to remain aware of their surroundings throughout the fight.

Control Resonant will be released on September 24 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
