The Sims 1 is a game that’s certainly already part of gaming history. This game, created by Will Wright, developed by Maxis Studios and published by EA Games, started a genre that, to this day, it practically reigns supreme in. Despite the upcoming Paralives and inZoi, The Sims still has an immense fanbase and a huge community of modders who are constantly improving the game, making it an infinite one.
Despite (fair) complaints from players regarding the quality of the Expansions and Content Pack releases, it cannot be denied that this is still a very relevant game and its most recent installment, The Sims 4, has become practically mandatory in the library of any gamer, mainly because it’s free and available in stores such as Steam, Origin and Epic.

Therefore, we’re going to list some of the coolest and most curious things from the first game in the franchise, The Sims 1, and tell you where you can find them.
If you know of anything else that isn't on the list, leave it in the comments!
The 25 Most Fun Easter Eggs from The Sims 1
1. Easter-eggs on the Home Screen: On the game's home screen, if you click on the Maxis logo, a funny image of Will Wright, the creator of the Sims, riding a scooter will appear.
2. Easter Eggs on the Neighborhood Screen: On the neighborhood screen, if you’re lucky, you can find the Loch Ness Monster emerging from the river. Still on the neighborhood screen, if you click on the Sims symbol at a specific point, this will activate a credits display with the names of all the people involved in creating the game.
3. Team Photo in the House Party Expansion Pack: In the House Party Expansion Pack, if you purchase the object called “Jungle Jumble Import Display” and interact with it while your Sim is in a good mood, a pop-up will appear showing a photo of the team that worked on this expansion.
4. Strange phone calls: You may notice that your phone receives strange calls. Sometimes it's just someone calling the wrong number, but many of these calls are scary and bizarre. However, these are just pranks and do not affect the game in any way.
5. Special message after 100 game days: If you play with a family for a total of 100 simulation days, you will receive a special message. It warns that, in the following days, there will be messages involving some people who worked on the game.
6. 'RoastBat' Cheat Code: There is a cheat code called "RoastBat" that adds 1,000 Simoleons when used. This term may be a reference to the film Citizen Kane, where the plot revolves around the meaning of the word "Rosebud", a rich and successful man’s last words.
7. Grim Reaper and Jack o'Lanterns: If you place several jack o'lanterns on the lot and all the Sims in the house go to sleep at night, the Grim Reaper will appear to play a ring-the-bell-and-run-away game before leaving.
8. Telescope and Alien Abduction (Living Large Expansion Pack): In the Living Large Expansion Pack, you can purchase a telescope to increase your Sim's logic skill. However, there is a chance that your Sim will be surrounded by strange blue orbs and be abducted by aliens at night. Other Sims in the house will gather around the telescope and cry. You can “greet” the giant, which triggers a message thanking you for playing The Sims. It’s also possible to steal beans from the magic can. To leave the place, just go back down the beanstalk.
14. The Frog Prince (Making Magic): You can try to kiss an enchanted frog after casting the Totification spell, but usually nothing happens. However, if you are very lucky, the frog will turn into a prince. The prince will join your household, and you can control him like any other Sim.
