The First State Of Play of 2025
Sony held today (February 12, 2025) the first State of Play of the year, an event full of announcements and game trailers that promise to shake up the gaming world in the coming months. Lasting more than 50 minutes, the presentation brought news for the PlayStation 5 (PS5), including long-awaited releases, remasters, new IPs and expansions. All Games Announced on the State of Play 2025
Monster Hunter Wilds
One of the highlights of the event, Monster Hunter Wilds has received a new launch trailer, showing epic battles against colossal creatures. The game arrives on February 28, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with a free update planned for the second half of the year, including the monster Mizutsune and new missions.
Shinobi: Art of Vengeance
SEGA has announced the return of the classic Shinobi franchise with a new 2D action game. Shinobi: Art of Vengeance promises hand-drawn graphics and gameplay full of ninja techniques. The game is scheduled for release on August 29, 2025.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
The blue hedgehog is back with Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, a new racing game that lets players explore different dimensions. The title will be available early starting February 21, 2025, with a closed network test.
Digimon Story Time Stranger
Digimon fans are getting a new adventure with Digimon Story Time Stranger, a JRPG that promises an epic journey through time. It is scheduled to be released in 2025.
Lost Soul Aside
After years of waiting, Lost Soul Aside finally has a release date: May 30, 2025. The game combines fast-paced action with RPG elements and will be available for PS5 and PC.
Borderlands 4
One of the most anticipated announcements, Borderlands 4 will arrive on September 23, 2025. The game promises more action, humor and chaos, with a new planet called Kairos as its setting.

The Midnight Walk
The Midnight Walk is a dark fantasy adventure set in a world made entirely of clay. The game arrives on May 8, 2025 for PS5 and PSVR2, promising a unique visual experience.
Warriors: Abyss
Warriors: Abyss is now available for PS4 and PS5. The game combines classic Warriors gameplay with roguelite mechanics, where each attempt brings new challenges.
Darwin’s Paradox!
In Darwin’s Paradox!, players control an octopus in a 2.5D platformer. The title will be released on PS5 in 2025, promising a unique experience with both aquatic and terrestrial abilities.

Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny
