A noite da última quinta-feira (11), marcou a décima primeira edição do The Game Awards (TGA). Este se trata da maior premiação no universo dos videogames, trazendo anúncios de jogos em primeira mão, além de prestigiar títulos nas mais diversas categorias.

O TGA sempre foi conhecido por trazer debates e polêmicas na maioria das categorias - principalmente no Jogo do Ano. Questionamentos sobre os nomes escolhidos são frequentes, Astro Bot vencer em 2024 e God of War em 2018 são alguns exemplos.

Porém, neste ano as conversas foram diferentes. Antes mesmo da divulgação dos resultados, foi praticamente unânime a aposta em Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, um RPG indie que conquistou o coração dos gamers. A lista dos escolhidos apenas confirmou este favoritismo, transformando Expedition 33 no jogo com maior número de indicações (12) da história do TGA!

Vencendo a maioria dos prêmios, incluindo o Jogo do Ano, o RPG foi o maior ponto de destaque desta edição. Mas, ainda é impossível fugir de dúvidas em algumas das diversas categorias - como a de Melhor Adaptação que prestigiou The Last of Us: Temporada 2.
