The Pokémon Company ended the fiscal year that closed in February 2026 with record revenue of approximately US$3.4 billion. The figure represents a 4.4-fold increase compared with the 120 billion yen reported five years earlier, in 2021.Net profit has also risen sharply in recent years. The company went from 8.8 billion yen in 2018 to 120.1 billion yen in 2026, a 13.6-fold increase over eight fiscal years.Part of that growth was concentrated around major releases for the franchise. In 2022, profit more than doubled to roughly 41.4 billion yen, driven by Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Pokémon Legends: Arceus.In fiscal 2026, profit rose 70.7% from the previous year. The period included the launch of Pokémon Legends: Z-A in October 2025 and the opening of Pokémon Park Kanto in February 2026. The venue was billed as the franchise’s first permanent outdoor theme park.Revenue had previously surged 38.1% in 2025, coinciding with the launch of Pokémon TCG Pocket in October 2024.
