However, if you are embarking on this adventure for the first time, there are some important things you should know that will help you discover the culprit of the crime and, as a bonus, maybe even get our Max a new romance. Let's discuss some tips and tricks for Life is Strange: Double Exposure and, if you have any questions, leave a comment.
Always Go to the Other World
In this game, your unique ability is to interact in two different worlds. In one of them, your friend Safi was murdered, but in the other, she’s still alive. Cross between the two worlds to find out who killed her. It’s important to remember that, from the second chapter onwards, you’ll gain the ability to cross from one side to the other whenever you want, which means that you’ll be able to freely explore both places and this will help you investigate the story in more depth. So, whenever you think there's something more out there, look the other way.

Additionally, you need to use the environment to your advantage. Pay attention to the smallest details to find clues. You may not notice it right away, but even the smallest piece of evidence can be helpful. Finding clues in the environment will help connect the two stories from different worlds.
Choose Carefully
The Life is Strange series has always been famous for its complex and intricate system of choices, the consequences of which extend throughout the game. You never know how and when you’ll be reminded of the decisions you made. This works especially well on the first playthrough, when you're still getting to know the story, its main and secondary characters.
What will happen if you help this or that person? How will your friends react to this? And are they really that good of friends? So, pay close attention to the choices you make and, above all, pay attention to their consequences, because they will certainly come bite you in the future.
Take Photos
If you remember Max, she’s a photographer and all her problems started precisely because of a photo she took in the school bathroom. Well, she still really enjoys taking photos and this skill will help as much as the ability to travel between worlds.

As you move between the two worlds, take as many photos as possible. This will help you remember past history and provide some memories with your characters. In addition to strengthening your connection to the game, these photos will help connect clues in the murder investigation.
Keep an eye on your in-game social media to learn and remember everything you can. However, be careful not to mix information between the two worlds. Life is Strange will certainly confuse you, but keep playing to discover the genius behind the game.
Listen and Talk to Everyone

As you get used to switching between the two worlds, it's essential to take advantage of both spaces. Talk to as many people as possible in both worlds. Talking to the characters opens up new possibilities for examining and solving the mystery. The more dialogue you have, the more clues you will receive and the more immersed you’ll be in the story.
Additionally, you can use an in-game skill to listen to people from both worlds. When walking along the same corridors, you’ll be able to hear conversations from another world. This will help connect the two stories and resolve your challenges faster. However, this ability will only be unlocked later in the second episode, so keep playing until you can use it.
Who Should I Date?
If you've played the original Life is Strange and see Max as an adult in a new life and new city, you're probably wondering: “Where's Chloe? Did I sacrifice an entire city to be with her? or ”What happened to Warren?”. Well, these questions are certainly answered, or at least mentioned in the game and it's up to you to find out for yourself. We won't give spoilers!

In this game, you have two new options with whom she can have a romance: a guy known as Vinh and a girl named Amanda, and they have really different personalities, which makes the narrative of Max's journey interesting.
But for the player, the real question is how does romance with one or the other change the story? You have plenty of opportunities to flirt with the two throughout the game, and in Episode 3 you get to make the choice that solidifies who Max will enter into a relationship with. And who should you be with? That depends solely on you! You can flirt with them and your decisions will affect the game and the ending.
And can you flirt with both? Of course! Will it work out in the end? That's for you to discover!
