EVE took a brief break from fighting the Naytiba to ride the bus. Shift Up released a live-action commercial to celebrate Stellar Blade’s arrival on Switch 2, with actors playing out scenes far removed from the game’s battles.

In the video, the protagonist wears her signature outfit as she catches a bus, has a picnic in the park and tells a player a bedtime story to help them fall asleep. The playful ad puts EVE in everyday situations rather than trying to recreate her mission in the game.

In Stellar Blade, EVE is a member of the 7th Airborne Squad, sent to Earth to fight the Naytiba, mysterious creatures linked to the planet’s devastation. As the mission unfolds, she uncovers secrets about humanity’s past and realizes her task is more complicated than it first appeared. The adventure combines exploration of a post-apocalyptic world with fast-paced combat and boss battles.

The Switch 2 edition includes previously released additional content, including collaborations with NieR:Automata and Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. EVE can also wear new outfits inspired by Bayonetta, giving players more ways to change her look during the adventure.

The Switch 2 version uses the Joy-Con 2 motion controls for certain activities outside combat. Those who have yet to play can try the beginning of the adventure through a free demo on the Nintendo eShop before deciding whether to buy Stellar Blade: Complete Edition.
