The figure comes from Circana’s Player Engagement Tracker and makes the Insomniac Games title the only single-player game in the top 10.The ranking tracks active users over the course of the week, rather than concurrent players. Marvel’s Wolverine appeared alongside several live-service games, including Fortnite and Call of Duty. The game launched on PS5 on September 15, just a few days before the period under review.Another report published by analyst Mat Piscatella indicates that players in the United States spent an average of 14.2 hours playing Marvel’s Wolverine that week. That put the title among the 20 games with the highest average playtime across all PlayStation categories. NBA 2K27 led the list, with 23.1 hours per player.Because Marvel’s Wolverine is a single-player experience with a limited length, the game may not remain among the most active titles for long. Even so, its seventh-place finish reflects a significant amount of activity during its first week on the market.Sony has yet to release official sales figures.
