Path of Exile 2 version 1.0 arrives on December 11 with the full campaign. The release adds Acts Five and Six, bringing the pursuit of the Beast to an end, along with two playable classes: Shadow and Duelist.

The new classes come with skill gems for daggers and swords. Shadow offers stealth, traps and clones that fight alongside the character, as well as skills such as Blade Vortex and Fire Trap. Duelist introduces swords, with skills including Cyclone and Hemorrhage.

Swords will also have stances such as Blood and Sand and Ready Stance. Players can wield one with both hands, dual-wield swords or pair a sword with a shield, opening up different build options.

The campaign’s final two acts take the story back to Oriath and beyond. Players will encounter new rare monsters with their own abilities, appearances and modifiers. The campaign will also introduce the mechanics of the new league, Conquerors of Wraeclast.

In the league, players can recruit armies and build a castle. More than 70 points of interest are scattered across the campaign, where players can recruit different types of soldiers and fight enemy forces in pursuit of bosses and rewards.

The full release will also include new monsters, bosses, base item types and unique items. Planned changes include adjustments to gems, the Atlas, the skill tree and endgame content, which will also gain a new maximum-level boss.
