The game was released in February and received positive reviews, according to the studio. In March, the company also celebrated its 28th anniversary. The developer said it would remain committed to experiences defined by its “NO GAME NO LIFE” identity and distinctive style. The statement describes independence as the company’s next step on the road to its 30th anniversary and beyond.Romeo Is a Dead Man could still receive a Switch 2 version, although the current status of that release is unknown. The title was self-published by Grasshopper Manufacture. The company also has another game planned for 2026, but no details about the project have been announced.
