Beast of Reincarnation is now available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. Its arrival, however, was accompanied by initial reports of performance drops and crashes in the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions.

Six hours after launch, the game received a 32 GB emergency update on Xbox. The patch was applied to fix FPS drops and stutters that affected the experience on both consoles. Initial impressions after the update indicate that the issues have been resolved, although it is still too early to confirm the result in every situation.

Before the patch, performance comparisons showed clear differences between the devices. On Xbox Series X, Beast of Reincarnation runs with 4K output and offers Quality and Performance modes, both targeting 60 FPS. The internal resolutions used in each option have not yet been detailed.

In footage recorded before the update, the Series X's Quality mode generally fluctuated between 45 and 60 FPS. The Performance mode, on the other hand, stayed closer to 60 FPS. Visually, both alternatives deliver good results, but the performance-focused mode appeared to be the more stable choice at that time.

On Xbox Series S, the visuals appear softer compared to the Series X, but players also get Quality and Performance modes. The performance-focused mode reached 60 FPS most of the time, while the Quality mode varied between 45 and 60 FPS in the pre-patch recordings.

Since all the comparison footage was captured before the 32 GB update, the current situation may be better than what was initially shown. For those planning to start the adventure through Game Pass, it is worth making sure the game is updated before jumping into action.
