In October, we’ve celebrated the birthday of the Dendro Archon, Nahida, with the Sabzeruz Festival and her return to the limited banner! So, you may have taken the opportunity to acquire her for your team!
But how do you build her correctly and place the best items and artifacts? How do you find out which companions are right to extract the maximum potential from this super-powerful shorty? We are going to suggest a good build that you can have on your Nahida and, if you have any questions, just leave a comment.

Building your Nahida
The Dendro Archon, just like all the previous ones, is a powerful character and a “must-have” in practically any account! Not only a powerful character, she is also extremely charismatic, fun and has a very interesting story. Imprisoned by the Academy's Sages, Nahida spent her life communicating through dreams and caring for her people, even when they turned their backs on her.
In addition, her powers also make the player's life easier outside of combat, allowing you to collect items from the field such as fruits, flowers and other materials from a distance (in other words, no more climbing an entire mountain to get a single flower at the top). Another cool thing is that, with her, you can read the minds of characters and NPCs from the Sumeru region, which reveals some pretty fun thoughts, especially during events.
In game terms, Nahida is a very effective Dendro applicator, both on and off the field, in addition to giving buffs to elemental reactions based on the element of nature, allowing you to make incredible combos and cause absurd damage! You'll want to max out your Elemental Skill, and then your Elemental Burst and lastly, only if you really want it, your Normal Attack.
On a team, Nahida can function as a Sub-DPS or support, increasing the team's damage with her passive talent which converts her Elemental Mastery into Critical Ratio.
Nahida will be a powerful support, best equipped with the A Thousand Floating Dreams catalyst, which is her limited 5-Star signature weapon (we talk a little about this at Beginners Guide) and a four-piece set of Deepwood Memories artifacts. Nahida relies heavily on Elemental Proficiency, and getting to around 1,000 is the sweet spot – so it's always a good idea to equip her with a weapon which has Elemental Proficiency as a base stat.
Artifacts
Generally, you’ll equip Nahida with Deepwood Memories. However, if, for some reason, you already have a dendro character on your team with the Memories set, you can give her the Gilded Dreams set, which is excellent for increasing your damage.
If, for some reason, you can't get good pieces from either of these two sets, then a two-piece set from the Wanderer's Troupe can increase Nahida's Elemental Proficiency. You still have the option of using the Flower of Paradise Lost, also to improve her Elemental Proficiency. In one of these sets you will be lucky and get good pieces! Don't give up!
Deepwood Memories
Two Pieces: 15% dendro damage bonus
Four Pieces: After hitting an enemy with an elemental ability or burst, the target's dendro resistance decreases by 30% for eight seconds. This effect can be activated even if the equipped character is not on the field.
Gilded Dreams
Two Pieces: increases Elemental Proficiency

Four Pieces: Within eight seconds of activating an elemental reaction, the equipped character gains buffs based on the elemental type of other party members. Increases attack by 14% for each member whose elemental type is the same as the equipped character, and increases Elemental Proficiency by 50 for each member with different elemental types. Each of the buffs counts up to three characters. This effect can be activated once every eight seconds, even when the character is not on the field.
Flower of Paradise Lost
Two Pieces: Increases Elemental Proficiency
Four Pieces: Increases the Damage inflicted by dendro reactions by 40%. After triggering any of these reactions, the bonus described above is further increased by 25%. This effect lasts 10s and can be stacked up to 4 times.
Wanderer's Troupe
Two Pieces: Increases Elemental Proficiency
Four Pieces: Not recommended
Statistics
As stats for your artifacts, you'll want to max out the following:
Key Stats:
Sands: Elemental Proficiency;
Goblet: Elemental Proficiency or dendro damage bonus;
Circlet: Elemental Proficiency;
Substats:
Elemental Proficiency;
Energy recharge;
Critical hit rate;
Critical damage;
Weapons
With no surprises for anyone, Nahida's best weapon is her limited five-star signature weapon, A Thousand Floating Dreams. However, if you don't have primogems or don't want to take your money out of your pocket, then we have the best free alternatives that can be obtained from any banner or are made in the forge:
Sacrificial Fragments
Rarity: Four stars
Bonus effect: Elemental Proficiency
Skill: After you damage an opponent with your elemental skill, the ability has a 40% chance to automatically recharge, eliminating the cooldown. This can only occur once every 30 seconds.
Mappa Mare
Rarity: Four stars
Bonus effect: Elemental Proficiency
Skill: When you activate an elemental reaction, it gains 8% bonus elemental damage for ten seconds. Maximum of two stacks.
Magical Guide
Rarity: Three stars
Bonus effect: Elemental Proficiency
Skill: Increases damage against opponents affected by Hydro or Electro by 12%.
Fruit of Fulfillment
Rarity: Four stars
Bonus effect: Energy recharge
Skill: after activating an elemental reaction, you gain 24 Elemental Proficiency and lose 5% attack. A stack appears every 0.3 seconds. Maximum of five stacks.
Teams
The best team compositions for Nahida are those that will make the most of her Critical Rate or Elemental Proficiency bonuses, as well as help trigger the dendro reactions she needs to activate her weapon and artifact bonuses. So, unless you like them a lot, and they are indispensable for your team, leave those Geo, Cryo and Anemo characters at home and make the most of the Hydro, Pyro and Electro characters.
Characters like Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko, Yelan, Kokomi, and Kazuha are welcome on just about any team, but getting them is another story! You can go with the budget versions of each, like Kuki Shinobu, Xinqiu, Bárbara and Sucrose if you want. For Pyro characters, for burn teams, Bennett is always a good choice, but you can also use Thoma. As a last resort, a Xinyan is also an option.
