Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave has surpassed 120,000 physical copies sold in Japan. The result puts the game among the recent standouts on Switch 2 and suggests that the series continues to maintain a significant audience on Nintendo’s new console.

The milestone stands out for the volume achieved, although it falls short of the figures recorded by other games in the franchise. Even so, the performance shows that Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave has found a sizable audience among Japanese players, despite not reaching the same sales levels as its predecessors.

The figure accounts only for physical units sold in Japan. As a result, it does not necessarily represent the game’s overall performance, since the information does not include digital sales or figures from other markets. What has been confirmed is that physical sales in Japan have exceeded 120,000 copies.

For the series, the result reinforces Fire Emblem’s presence on Switch 2. The franchise continues to have a large community in Japan, and Fortune’s Weave is helping keep that audience active on the platform.

Comparisons with other entries make it clear that the game remains well behind the series’ strongest performers. Even so, Switch 2’s large install base appears to have been a significant factor in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave’s performance in Japan.

So far, the published data focuses on physical sales in Japan and the gap between the game and other titles in the franchise. The confirmed figure is more than 120,000 units sold.
