Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman - Abilities of the new characters in Marvel Rivals
After the announcement of Fantastic Four by NetEase itself, it was known that only two of the members would arrive as playable characters on the first day of the update. In this case, they were Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman, who are, respectively, a duelist and a strategist.
In fact, the two already have a Collaborative Ability between them, bringing the union of the Fantastic Four into practice during matches. You will see more details in the next topic.
Mister Fantastic
Mister Fantastic's abilities are a good representation of his powers, as seen in comics and movies. The first impression is that the character is very faithful to the original material. Watch a video detailing and illustrating all of his combat mechanics:
Invisible Woman
Another huge success of the developer, the fact that invisibility is a passive power, not an active one, makes gameplay very interesting with it too. With a high healing capacity, including for herself, Invisible Woman plays her role as a strategist quite well and has everything to be another popular hero in Marvel Rivals.
New Fantastic Four skins available in the store
NetEase took advantage of the high repercussions that the new heroes received to make cosmetics available in the item shop. Two new bundles including the Fantastic Four are now being sold: Mister Fantastic - The Maker Bundle and Invisible Woman - Malice Bundle. Both are sold for 1600 Units and have the skin as the main product, which can be sold separately for 1400 Units.

Invisible Woman Season Skin
Following the same pattern as Season 0, Marvel Rivals is awarding a free skin to those who have reached Gold rank or higher in the game's competitive queue by the end of the current season. This time, it's the Blood Shield outfit for the Invisible Woman.
Battle Pass Skins
In the new Battle Pass rewards track, two skins are available for free to claim. They are: Blue Tarantula (Peni Parker) and Emporium Matron (Scarlet Witch). They’re not the best skins we’ll see today, but they represent popular heroines and will certainly be used a lot by the community.

Free event with Thor skin
Within the game, access the “Season” tab, and you will soon see that there is not only Battle Pass and Missions as before, a new section called “Event” has appeared. There, we’re introduced to a Daily Bugle newspaper with articles about an investigation.
Over the days more materials are made available, totaling 5. Each one represents a chapter of missions to be completed that provide rewards.
On the left side of the journal, there is a track of rewards provided for completing each chapter. Those who fully complete all of them will have the privilege of receiving the Thor Reborn of Ragnarok skin.
New map and more game modes
A new setting has arrived in Marvel Rivals, Midtown is the newest map released in the game, and its setting is very reminiscent of the theme of the first season. With it, a game mode called “Quick Match (MIDTOWN)” emerged to make players enjoy the new addition to their hearts’ content.
Another new feature is the Doom Match, where the idea is to be a deathmatch with 12 players on the Sanctum Sanctorum map, including the possibility of entering Doctor Strange's house. Several portals appear in the match to bring even more fun and unique gameplay.
Battle Pass
A new reward track has been added to the game. We've already mentioned the free skins that are part of the Battle Pass. Now it's time to highlight the luxury items, which are part of the paid version of the pass, unlocked for 990 or 2100 Lattices; the more expensive version grants an extra 2800 Chrono Tokens, in addition to a 20% bonus on missions that provide this currency.
We’ll be brief on this topic, as we have already worked on an article entirely focused on the Battle Pass, showing all the paid and free rewards on the track. You can also read it right here!
In short, the best Skins provided here are as follows.
All Butcher - Loki

Balancing
Huge balance changes were announced in the Patch Notes published on the game's official website. We’ll be objective, mentioning the main changes.
Vanguards
Captain America received a small health boost of 25 points, as well as a reduction in the cooldown on several abilities, including the cost of his Ultimate.
Thor also gained 25 health points, and is now immune to control effects during his Ultimate.
Finally, the last buff in this class goes to Venom, the developer brought an increase in resistance to his E ability, from 1, per life lost, to 1.2. In addition, it added 10 to the base damage of his Ultimate.
Doctor Strange has received modest nerfs, most notably the reduced shield recharge rate, which has gone from 80 per second to 70.
Duelists
Storm's basic shots are now faster and deal more damage. Her right-click attack is another ability that has received a greater power to damage enemies. The main buff was to her ultimate ability, now the shield when turning into a tornado is 450, up from 350, and will not end when the ability ends, it will gradually decay over time.
Squirrel Girl has received a major adjustment to her Ultimate, with both benefits and drawbacks. The ability now goes straight to the nearest opponent instead of bouncing randomly, but its resistance has been reduced from 600 to 300.
Wolverine has lost the 10% damage reduction that was granted by his E, but his health has been increased by 50, a huge gain for non-vanguard heroes.
Strategists
Cloak and Dagger now has one more activation in its Ultimate, bringing its total to four. The Dagger Storm skill was another one that received improvements, with its cooldown reduced from 15 to 12 seconds.
Jeff, one of the most popular supports in the game, could become even more present, as his water jet healing has been improved by 10 per second. He had a brief nerf to his Ultimate, but nothing too impactful. Another hero with increased healing is Rocket Raccoon, the hero received the same buff in the Repair Mode skill.

Conclusion
Season 1 is looking incredible and promises to keep fans engaged in this Hero Shooter that has been dominating the market. Free skins acquired in various ways will allow the community to experience different things in the same game, whether it's completing missions and events, joining a community by watching streams on Twitch, or playing seriously in competitive mode.
The Battle Pass is pretty interesting and the new characters are fun and innovative in their gameplay.
Not all the balancing changes were interesting, maybe Jeff didn't need more healing power than he already has. It's still a game in development, and we know how challenging it is to balance a large cast of heroes, but we need to be careful not to create frustrations with strong or weak characters in the future.
Overall, these were great additions to Marvel Rivals, and even though I disagree with certain buffs to heroes, most of them were good. I hope this article helped you better understand the huge changes that occurred this season, I'm open to questions and suggestions in the comments.
