The wait for METAL GEAR SOLID: Master Collection Vol. 2 has brought good news for the Brazilian public: the collection will support Brazilian Portuguese subtitles.

However, the confirmation comes with an important detail. It has not yet been announced when language support will be available. In other words, the subtitles have been confirmed, but players need to wait for more information about when this option will arrive.

The collection is scheduled to be released on August 27. Confirmed games in the package include Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel, originally released for Game Boy Color; Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, for PSP; and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, for PlayStation 3.

The addition of Brazilian Portuguese paves the way for more players to follow the series' dialogue and events more easily. This is especially relevant in a franchise known for its narrative and conversations that carry important details for the plot.

For now, expectations are divided between the collection's arrival in August and the future availability of subtitles. The language has already been confirmed; what remains to be seen is whether it will be included at launch or added later.
