While Fortnite players explore the vast universes of video games and series, Epic Games stands out for its collaborations that transcend the boundaries of the game itself. The partnership between Marvel and Fortnite is a striking example of this synergy, resulting in stunning skins and memorable events.
Marvel Comics has dozens of games, movies and TV shows, and has also brought its incredible universe to Epic Games' Battle Royale. Shall we revisit these moments?

It all started in 2018, where Fortnite held an event and inserted the “Infinity Stones” mechanic into matches. The player who found the Infinity Gauntlet would transform into Thanos, one of the main villains in the comics.
The proposal was to promote the film Avengers: Infinity War, released at the time, and it worked really well, the collab* moved both communities!
Fortnite X Avengers: Endgame
A year later, in 2019, the sequel to Infinity War hit theaters, Avengers: Endgame. And just like in 2018, a partnership emerged intending to promote Marvel's feature movie, in addition to generating hype among Fortnite players.
The update was even bigger than the previous year, bringing the new MTL Endgame mode, two teams faced each other, one formed by Thanos and his soldiers, the other by the Avengers!
The goal of Thanos' army is to acquire all the Infinity Stones, where each one provides a boost. The Avengers have the duty to stop them, providing an epic battle!

In this mode, Fortnite released the Avengers' weapons, such as Captain America's Shield, Thor's Hammer, Iron Man's Repulsors and Hawkeye's Bow.
In addition to this event, we also had the first Marvel skin available to players, the Black Widow!
Interdimensional War: Fight against Galactus
We've already mentioned new mechanics, weapons and game modes, and how they yielded great results for both sides. It was a matter of time before a live event came.
In 2020, Epic Games held another one of its live events, this time players joined forces to destroy one of Marvel's main villains, Galactus!
The event took place on December 1, 2020, and had more than 15.3 million simultaneous players, surpassing Travis Scott's live show (12 million) and becoming the record for the game's biggest audience at the time.
Fortnite X Marvel: Zero Point War
This collab went so far that it went beyond the screens and is now in our real world! Marvel, in 2022, announced a series of comics in partnership with Fortnite.
Fortnite X Marvel: Zero Point War has 5 editions, and you can find them for sale on retail websites.

Skins and Cosmetics
The Battle Pass has always been one of the most beneficial stuff in Fortnite. For an affordable price, players complete missions to acquire various incredible costumes. Several of these passes brought Marvel skins, let's remember!
Deadpool was the highlight of Season 2 of Chapter 2, in 2020, the anti-hero received costumes in the game. Despite not being on the main track, the player who purchased the Battle Pass received a series of challenges, which, when completed, provided the skin.
Marvel received an entire themed pass for the fourth season of Chapter 2, with seven new skins: Groot, Doctor Doom, Thor, Mystique, Tony Stark, Jennifer Walters and Storm.
In the eighth season of the same Chapter, we had the presence of Carnage.
Right in the first Season of Chapter 3, Spider-Man showed up, it was awarded to players who purchased the Battle Pass and reached level 80. At level 100, a new version of the skin was released, the Symbiote Suit.
One season after Spider-Man appeared, it was the turn of Doctor Strange, another skin granted only to those who purchased the pass.
In season 4 of the same chapter, Gwen Spider was added to the battle pass for fans! In this version, she has a mask on her skin, but it was also possible to acquire other styles through additional rewards, including “Gwen Stacy”, where her face is visible.
We also have costumes available periodically in the item shop. The main ones are: Thanos, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Hawkeye, Ghost Rider, Ant-Man, Venom, among many others.
It is worth highlighting the Spider-Man (Miles Morales) and Spider-Man 2099 costumes that arrived at the Fortnite store during the release of the Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse movie, in 2023.
