Grand Theft Auto 6 received a PEGI 18+ age rating that was published and removed shortly afterward from the European organization’s website. Before it was taken down, fans saved and shared the listing, which details the adult content featured in Rockstar Games’ title.

The description mentions murder, robbery, gun-related crime, illegal activities and offensive language, while also pointing to a change in how drug use is portrayed in the series. According to the text attributed to PEGI, drug use will be “frequent and prominent”, with players able to use illegal drugs alone or with others.

Cocaine is the most specific example. The substance can be carried in the character’s inventory and consumed directly from their hand at any time, according to the rating. In GTA 5 and GTA Online, bongs are also featured as an option, but they are generally restricted to apartments controlled by the player.

The listing also mentions strong sexual themes, including nudity, sexual activity and occasional fetishes. In nightclubs, players will be able to pay for private dances and move the characters’ hands onto the dancers’ breasts and buttocks, according to the published content.

Violence is also included in the rating. Players will be able to injure other characters in the environment, with weapons capable of causing more serious harm, including detailed decapitations and dismemberment. PEGI describes the content as having a “high degree of realism”.

The age rating does not provide a release date for Grand Theft Auto 6.
