There were so many new features that the title broke its newest record for simultaneous players, surpassing its own launch! According to Steam Charts, Marvel Rivals reached a live audience of more than 642 thousand.
In this article, the focus will be on helping you play the Invisible Woman, a strategist with a high healing capacity, in addition to offering considerable damage compared to other members of this class. The character also offers some escape tools, leaving her alive for longer and with immense potential to carry games.
Invisible Woman Skills
Passive - Covert Advance
While out of combat, the heroine becomes invisible, remaining stealthy and slowly regenerating her HP. Another curious factor is that this ability combines very well with Veiled Step, as this second jump activates the passive instantly.
Notice, in the video below, that it initially takes Sue a few seconds to become stealthy. On the second occasion, she enters the passive right when I use Veiled Step.
Main Shot - Orb Projection
Her basic attack is full of unique mechanics which make the heroine capable of dealing high damage compared to other strategists. In addition to hitting enemies, Orb Projection also heals allies. Another great advantage is that your blow goes through heroes, capable of hitting several characters in a single attack.
Your main shot also returns to you, dealing two instances of damage, or healing if it goes through an ally. This feature is also efficient for when you miss the shot, as you will be able to hit it on the way back if you reposition yourself. It may seem complex, but you will understand it better in the following video.
Note that when shooting at Luna Snow, I initially miss the shots, but when I reposition myself it’s possible to hit her when the projectile returns. When I decide to aim exactly at her, two waves of damage fall with a single hit, since it hit back and forth. After that, it was possible for Orb Projection to actually surpass the enemies and allies it hits, increasing its healing and damage potential in battles.
Another important point for those who want to master gameplay with the Invisible Woman is understanding the range of her main attack. In this case, it runs for 30 meters, as shown below.
Guardian Shield
This ability generates a shield with 300 health points in front of the selected ally. Additionally, you will also grant one heal per second to the target. It’s possible to instantly change the target receiving protection.
If the shield is destroyed, you will need to wait a 6-second cooldown to use it again. We can also destroy it using the “F” key if you play on PC, so the reload time will be reduced proportionally to the remaining health of the shield.
The first time, I lowered the ability before it was fully broken, resulting in a lower cooldown. Then I let it be destroyed and we see the cooldown at 6 minutes.

As this shield is immobile, it’s best to use it on turrets like the Punisher's or snipers who tend to move less.
Psionic Vortex
An ability more focused on damage and crowd control is Psionic Vortex. It’s very impactful against dive heroes, as it pulls enemies into the region, inhibiting their advances.
Force Physics
Another skill that doesn't focus so much on healing itself. Force Physics is extremely flexible, as it can bring enemies closer or push them further away. It’s interesting against poke compositions, to bring snipers closer, as well as blocking the advances of dive compositions, pushing them away.
Its range, like Orb Projection, is also 30 meters.
Ultimate - Invisible Boundary
Her Ultimate brings numerous advantages to the team. You will select an area where allies will have great health regeneration, in addition to being invisible to the eyes of opponents. Opponents in the region will be slowed down.
Team-up Ability - Fantastic Force
Her only Team-up Ability so far happens with Mister Fantastic, the only Fantastic Four companion for the Invisible Woman so far present as a playable character.
For our heroine, this is just a passive, we’ll see a bigger difference controlling Mister Fantastic, he will be able to activate the skill to receive a significant amount of shield.
Play Style - What compositions do the Invisible Woman fit into?
Her flexibility makes Sue's playstyle more diverse, but generally, you'll want to go aggressive. Therefore, I recommend playing with heroes from rush and brawl compositions, who seek advances and battles with area skills.
Veiled Step activates your passive instantly, making it a very useful skill for escapes, allowing you to move forward calmly. However, it’s not recommended to use the heroine in dive compositions because although we have the escape with our double jump, we don't have many other advancement mechanics to follow your team's dive.
Invisible Woman works well with
As already mentioned in our guide, less mobile heroes enhance your Guardian Shield, so Invisible Woman also stands out in poke strategies, but with a more defensive style to protect these snipers and turrets.
The stealth provided by the Invisible Boundary opens up incredible windows to combine with other Ultimates, such as Magneto or Iron Man, as opponents will not have clear information about these abilities.
Invisible Woman is bad against
In general, flying heroes are strong against Sue, as their damage and control abilities are area-based, and this type of character tends to be further away from the rest of the enemy team, reducing the impact of their shots and spells that could otherwise be used against countless enemies.
Flankers are also threats, since your self-healing is only through invisibility. Shields and shots don't heal you. So, the assassins will be effective against you, the recommendation is to save Veiled Step for these occasions.

Conclusion
Invisible Woman has her weaknesses, but she is a strong, complete and, above all, fun heroine. It was a tremendous success by NetEase and the community hopes to receive other great releases like this in the future.
