The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has a new trailer showcasing the changes made for the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive remake. The preview features fully reworked visuals, an orchestral soundtrack, voice acting and expanded cinematic scenes.

Rebuilt for the console, the game follows Link as he becomes the Hero of Time. With the help of the fairy Navi, he must stop Ganondorf from stealing the Triforce of the Sacred Realm and conquering Hyrule. Princess Zelda also appears as a determined protector of the kingdom, while the Gerudo leader is identified as the source of the threat.

The remake updates movement with improved controls and a modern camera. Players can also play the Fairy Ocarina and the Ocarina of Time using traditional buttons or the Nintendo Switch 2 microphone, with the option to hum or play instruments.

The trailer also shows Link’s progression. He begins his journey as a child, wielding weapons suited to his size, and later grows old enough to wield the Master Sword and use other tools. The Kokiri Sword is shown as one of the items available during this first stage.

The adventure takes players to familiar locations across Hyrule, including Lon Lon Ranch, the Royal Family’s palace, Hyrule Castle Town, Kokiri Forest and Zora’s Domain. The trailer also highlights elements of the journey, including horses, cows and the song needed to reach the land of the Zoras.

More details are available on the official The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time pagelink outside website.
