El Paso, Elsewhere is a surreal third person action game developed by Strange Scaffold and published by Frosty Pop. It follows James Savage, a former United States Drug Enforcement Administration agent, as he enters a collapsing hotel to confront Draculae.

Draculae is both James's ex girlfriend and a vampire lord whose ritual threatens to plunge the world into eternal night. The game's story unfolds through a supernatural version of El Paso, Texas, where rooms connect impossibly and architecture continually changes.

Released on September 26, 2023, the game was created by Xalavier Nelson Jr. and his Strange Scaffold team. Its setting uses El Paso imagery, including desert roads, motel spaces, and border city atmosphere, but transforms those references into dreamlike horror.

James carries firearms such as a pistol, shotgun, submachine gun, and revolver, while supernatural abilities make combat deliberately acrobatic. He can dive through the air, fire while moving, and trigger bullet time, a slow motion effect that lets players redirect attacks.

The campaign is presented as a third person shooter with James's narration driving the action. His monologues address guilt, grief, addiction, and his continuing attachment to Draculae. The tone mixes pulp action with intimate tragedy and horror imagery throughout combat.

Rather than treating Draculae as a remote monster, the script makes their former relationship central to the conflict. James repeatedly tries to reach her while killing creatures defending her ritual. This tension gives the game's supernatural premise a personal focus.
